I’ve been photographing this family for every stage of this little guy’s life, and I was so happy to hear that they were coming to Ohio for a visit, and wanted a session here in Columbus. I last saw them a few months before we moved from South Carolina back to Ohio. Mr. C gets sweeter and cheekier every time I see him, and his mommies remain two of my most favorite people. Can’t wait to see them again.
I was so excited when this beautiful family asked me to do a photo session at Franklin Park Conservatory in front of the poinsettia display for their annual Christmas cards. Everything about the session was perfect; from the colors they chose in contrast to the gorgeous red of the plants, to the dreamy light streaming in through the greenhouse windows. I couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon to be a photographer.
What’s more fun than hanging out with two handsome fellas on a crisp fall day, and playing in some piles of leaves? Not much! These brothers hung out with me at Tawawa Park in Sidney Ohio for my annual mini-session day, and we had a blast. How handsome are they?
Baby B’s smile was a beam of summer sunshine on this cold afternoon, and the love of this sweet family kept them warm long enough to do a quick mini session at Tawawa Park while I was in Sidney. Mama has been my closest friend since we were both in primary school, so it is always a dear pleasure to see her, even briefly.
Cold! So, so cold! This family’s mama (a friend from high school) and her four handsome fellas (five, including the pooch!) were such good sports, to make it through most of this session without coats on. But wow, was it chilly. As it always does Tawawa Park in Sidney Ohio provided a perfect backdrop for this session.
What a beautiful evening at the Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Ohio. Gorgeous parents, beautiful blue-eyed kiddos, and Mother Nature putting on a show with Fall color. Perfect evening!
This is the last of the sessions from the I Heart Faces conference this month, and I’m so happy to have gotten to shoot this family. I think integrating a maternity shoot in with a family shoot is such a lovely idea, and how gorgeous is this mama?
Thank goodness I had a baby boy in my arms when this session was done, otherwise my baby fever would have been off the charts. These are from one of the workshops I participated in at the I Heart Faces conference this month, with the lovely Helen John of
